/ Danish cities in Horizon 2020 – cities with most active orgranisations in Horizon 2020

This Grøn/Bruun Update contains information about, which Danish cities has the most active organisations in Horizon 2020 .

The key findings are:

  1. Copenhagen (København) has the most active organisations in Horizon 2020 with 1.567 million DKK in 471 projects. This equals a third of all Danish Horizon 2020 funding.
  2. Kgs. Lyngby has the second most active organisations with 185 projects and 676,2 million DKK in funding. Kgs. Lyngby is followed by Aarhus, Aalborg and Odense as the cities with the most active organisations.
  3. 78% of the funding received in the top-5 city are contributed to universities.
  4. Copenhagen is also the most active city in Denmark with direct involvement in 11 Horizon 2020 projects receiving 32,5 million DKK.
